Questions we expect
What counts as an "order"?
One order = one ticket at a table, one QR session, or one bar tab - regardless of how many items, how many payments, or whether the customer split the bill. You track "tables served", not "card taps". Split-pay doesn't double-count.
What happens if I go over my tier's cap?
Nothing in-shift. You keep running at full speed. Your admin dashboard shows a usage banner as you approach the cap. When you cross it we reach out personally to discuss the right tier for the next cycle. If it was a one-off (big event, festival), we leave you on your current tier.
Is there a free trial?
We are accepting Founding Partners right now: 3 months free on the Growth tier, then 50% off for the remaining 9 months of year one. Year two returns to the normal Growth price. The Founding Partner cohort is intentionally small; once it closes, new tenants get a 30-day free trial instead.
Do you take a cut of our sales?
No. Your card processor (SumUp / Zettle / Stripe Terminal) charges their usual ~1.69% - you negotiate that with them directly. BahiKash never takes a per-transaction fee. The tier price is what you pay.
Can I change tiers mid-month?
Yes. Upgrades and downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. No change is ever applied during a live shift. Need it sooner? Email us and we will prorate it manually.
What happens if I cancel?
Data export on request, no exit fees - tell us what you need (products, orders, customers, inventory, reports) and we will hand it over. Standard plans are billed monthly and close at the end of the current billing cycle. Founding Partners commit to a 12-month relationship in exchange for their 3 free months plus 50% off; if you need to leave early we will work it out together rather than penalise you (see T&Cs in the Founding Partners section on the home page).
Is my data EU-hosted?
Yes. Data is hosted in the EU, with EU backups. We're an Estonian OÜ, subject to GDPR and Estonian tax law. See our DPA for the compliance details.
